Center for EMDR Dubai was established in 2015 with the purpose to expand the knowledge of EMDR and to meet the need for professional treatment with EMDR Psychotherapy in the GCC countries.

Director of the office is Eva Resting Master of Science (M.Sc.) psychology and an experienced Specialist and Supervisor in Occupational and Organizational Psychology, educated at the University in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The last 10 years she has specialized in EMDR Psychotherapy and is an Accredited Practitioner. Eva Resting has stayed and been practicing in Qatar and Dubai for the past 6 years. She has a professional understanding of the intercultural aspect of the Middle East and the specific circumstances of being an expat.

Center for EMDR Copenhagen

The Center for EMDR Dubai has a professional relationship, with Center for EMDR Copenhagen

run by Director Katrine Halvgaard, M.Sc. (Master of Science),

CBA (Certificate of Business Administration), and Specialist in Psychotraumatology and Accredited

Practitioner and Supervisor in EMDR Psychotherapy.

Katrine Halvgaard is educated at the University of Copenhagen and has since 1996 been the owner and

director of  Compsych  and since 2015 the Center of EMDR Copenhagen .

She has been practicing as a Business Psychologist as well a Practitioner within EMDR Psychotherapy developing organizations, teams and individuals.
